Jr. Raiders sweep tri-meet - Tuesday track roundup

The Benjamin Logan Jr. High boys track team won a tri-meet with 112 points against Wapakoneta and Indian Lake at Indian Lake on Tuesday night.

Scoring for the team were the following:

First Place: Brady Burrey in the 200 hurdles in 29.68, Wyatt Smith in the pole vault in 6’6”, Andrew Hughes in the 1600 in 6:00, Blaine Worden in the 400 in 1:04, Brady Burrey in the 200 dash in 26.4, and the 4x400 relay of Caleb Epp, Trevor Berry, Josh Tipton, and Blaine Worden

Second Place: Trevor Berry in the high jump in 5’, Yale Scheiderer in the 200 hurdles in 35.09, Caleb Epp in the 400 in 1:07, Wyatt Smith in the 200 hurdles in 32.67, Tyler Knight in the 110 hurdles in 21.38, Kozar Kensler in the 100 in 13.07

Third Place: Josh Tipton in the 400 in 1:10, Jonas Hoffman in the 1600 in 6:29, Kozar Kensler in the shot put in 30’3”, Trevor Berry in the 100 in 13.4

Fourth Place: Owen O’Brien in the pole vault in 5’, Sam Whitten in the 400 in 1:15, Luke Hemmelgarn in the shot put in 29’7”

The Benjamin Logan Jr. High girls track team won a tri-meet against Wapakoneta and host Indian Lake Tuesday night.

The West Liberty-Salem Middle School boys track team hosted a seven-team meet on Tuesday.

The Tigers tied Fairbanks for 1st place in team points.

The Calvary Christian Jr. High team competed at West Liberty-Salem.
