Bellefontaine 14u baseball places second in Indiana

The Bellefontaine 14u baseball team placed second at the Future Stars of Sports Slugfest in Huntington, Indiana over the weekend.

In pool play the Chiefs tied the Indiana Bears 10-10 due to a time limit and lost to Wauseon, Ohio 3-2.

In the semi-finals they defeated Logansport, Indiana 11-2 before falling to Wauseon again in the finals 11-3.

Jarrid Baughman, Miles Harte, Ethan Ricketts, Marcus Brugler, Triston Hazel, and Robby Wildermuth handled the pitching.

Ricketts powered the offense with a single, 3 doubles, and 6 RBIs.

Connor Rose added 3 singles, a double, and 6 RBIs.

Wildermuth had 2 doubles, while Hazel and Brugler smacked doubles.
