Indoor walking program returns, Changes coming to Hoffman Pool schedule (Audio included)

The Bellefontaine Joint Recreation District discussed one of its popular winter programs Tuesday night.

The winter indoor walking program returned to the Bellefontaine Elementary School Tuesday evening. The program is offered Monday through Thursday from 6 pm to 7 pm for ten weeks. The doors are locked at 7 pm, however walking concludes at 7:30 pm. The program is free.

Some changes were made to the Hoffman Pool schedule for the upcoming summer. The pool will be opened from 12:15 pm to 7 pm each day. The change in schedule will allow the evening swim lessons to take place from 7 pm to 8 pm.

The board is working to create a yoga program at the Myeerah Nature Preserve. Those sessions will be conducted on Wednesday evenings during the summer months.

The district will be bringing back the Citizens Federal Savings and Loan Movie Series this summer. The series will begin on Friday, June 1st. The series will then have a movie every other Friday. The series will end after airing six movies.

The registration day for youth programs will be on March 3rd from 10 am to 1 pm at the Bellefontaine Elementary School.

The Bellefontaine Joint Recreation District Board will meet again on February 6th at 7 pm.
