Stuff the Bus a huge success (Audio included)

Forget “Stuff the Bus.” How about “Stuff the Semi?” Over 425,000 school supplies filling two straight trucks were delivered to schools throughout Logan County Friday by United Way volunteers. The deliveries culminated United Way of Logan County’s three-week project to help equip local students with the tools they need to succeed in the classroom this school year.

Associates at NEX Transport in East Liberty spent more than nine hours this week sorting and organizing donations that were made at 30 collection sites throughout the county. On Friday, they helped load and deliver the items to the following school districts: Bellefontaine, Benjamin Logan, Calvary Christian, Indian Lake, Ohio Hi-Point, Riverside, and West Liberty-Salem.

If you need school supplies, contact your school office beginning next week.
